Nice looking camera! I'm a little jealous.

The 28/504mm comparison shots on the sunrise are impressive. The pictures look good but they're so small it's hard to tell. (I know, I know: you were just being sensitive to the bandwidth-impaired users. Still, somebody had to yank your chain about it!) Anyway, I've never met the Olympus that produced poor-quality images, so I'm sure they're good.

Nice! Thanks for the bigger pictures.

The rocks below the dam are pretty cool-looking.

The dam is 1 of 5 falls that Lewis and Clark faced in Great Falls during their expedition.

Well, that does it - gotta update mine, too. Yours are
spectacular but I'm sticking with Canon - too much
money in len$es and I've always liked Canon, since my
first AT-1. You just can't beat digital SLR.

Considering all its features (more than I will ever need), I paid $346 for it, an excellent price for the money in my book.

Canon is an excellent camera too, Canon PowerShot S3 IS was my other choice.

THAT is a VERY GOOD price!

As far as bells and whistles go, I never use most of them either,
until my kids or grandkids show me/explain it/ expect me to
learn it ... and that's happening more often, the older THEY get!

Oh, do you use anything like Photoshop to change/manipulate
    the images?

Nope, the pictures are as-is ... I have yet to explore the powers of Photoshop but it's on my scope. The camera came with Olympus Master 2 software but have not loaded it yet.

    OK ... want some advice?

    Do it.

It opens up a whole new universe!

It's one of the best things I've ever
been exposed to. Read up a little
    on graphics programs and what
they can do. You'd probably like
    it - it's amazing.

FEENIX, I've got the SP-510UZ. I love it. The Olympus Master Program came with mine too. I've never really looked at it. You will love the camera.

Hey that is a cool camera and pics.
I am confused though on how you took pics of the camera while it wwas setting on the table? My camera doesn't have that feature that allows it to snap a pic of itself.

    drjew,

I still have a lot to learn but I love it already. Thanks.

    MVP,

If you are referring to the first 2 pix, I took it with my old camera as noted. Would be a nice feature though [:p]!

They are some great photo's we have a couple descent digital camera's, which would take better pics if we done some studying. I love the Damn, can you tell me a little about it and a how many customers it serves? I know of a old Dam that used to power a small community and the factories in the town. The same guy owned it all. They cleaned it out about 3yrs ago and now have it up and running. I want to go see it and how it works if I know when someone will be there to show and tell.
