LEOs, How many of you would....

Question for LEOs. How many of you wold leave a wounded officer laying in street for five hours during a standoff with a gunman?

The Japanese cops did just that.

  They don't train for that senario because of their effective gun control laws.[:D][:D][:D][:D]

  Maybe it was a case of: if they went to get him there would be more
  laying in the street.

  Even after waiting for a special team to come and get the wounded Officer there was still one shot and killed. How many would have been killed if they just rushed in willy-nilly and tried to save him. Who knows?

  Get a large vehicle. Have some other ofcrs lay down some covering fire and drive out and get him. Thats what I would do.
