BTW, not that I've really contributed much to the forum but I probably won't be posting for a while.

34 weeks. That's good because he's supposed to be alright after 35 weeks. The thing that's worrisome is that the baby is still really tiny (only about 4 lbs) and she has gotten into the stroke range a few times. Once they were even getting things ready in case she seized.

We'll pray for the three of you. Keep good thoughts. The stuff they can do, today, even with primi's is nothing short of miraculous.

My wife's water broke at 34 weeks; she was in the hospital for about a week more, when the baby pushed his foot through. Had an emergency C section. All turned out AOK. She'll probably get some steroid shots to help with lung development, which is really the last thing to develop. 4 lbs isn't too bad; my kid was 4.5 lbs, and daddy's 6'2 & 290 lbs. In all seriousness, don't push for a vaginal delivery. There's no glory in that if you put the kid at risk. My wife had a C section, and she was up and around within hours. She had her gallblader out a few years ago, and it was laproscopic, and she was in pain for over a week. Good Luck!
