Please take a moment to explain?
My new computer from Dell has a place for a Bluetooth card, I assume you have to buy it? But almost everything on here has the option of sending something to your Blue Tooth. What does it do or is their anything an adult would use it for. I really dont know anything except there is a place for the card and a blue light on the PC that represents it?

BlueTooth is okay. Pretty much anything you can do with BlueTooth you can do with WiFi. WiFi is faster and you have a much longer range. BlueTooth is more secure, but your range is extremely limited.
BlueTooth allows you to connect a PDA, headphones, mouse/keyboard, cellphone, etc. to your computer. There's a lot of options you can use for it.
As for me, I prefer WiFi. I'm a security nut, so I'm not worried about someone hacking my WiFi signal -- for all intents and purposes it can't be done. BlueTooth is a bit too slow for my liking.0 -
Bluetooth is a method for connecting electronic devices without wires.
Not that it matters but the technology was named for King Harald the Bluetooth who king of Denmark in the late 900s. He managed to unite Denmark and part of Norway into a single kingdom then introduced Christianity into Denmark. Kinda the way bluetooth technology unites devices.0 -
