Made 2 big buys today
First I bought a new Poulan rideing lawn mower. Just the smaller of them haveing a 38" cut and a 15hp motor and 6 speed trans.
Second I bought a new Kodak 7.1mp Z710 camera. It has a 10x optical zoom and a bunch of features I may never use. Now I just got to figure out how to use it![:D]

The 10x optical zoom makes that camera worth it...
Nice thing about digital is that you can take 10 pics or 10000 pics, all for the same cost.0 -

Just a tip; I've found the best thing about digital photography is having a graphics software. It makes for an unbelievably tough to beat combo! Congrats![8D]0 -

I've been happy with my old HP 4.1mp with 3x optical zoom. But lately the date has been messing up and it drains batteries even while shut off.
It takes great pics still as you can see on some of my other posts, I just got tired of messing with the little stuff. So I desided to get a new one with more zoom to it.0 -

Just for the record ... a 7.1 mp bell/whistle really isn't necessary ...
as you can easily blow up your 10x photo (digitally) and get the
very same result ... cut & crop. I was excited about the same thing

Yea, I would have been happy with a 5mp, but nobody had them with that much zoom.
I only paid $200 for the camera so I don't think I got hurt to bad on it.0 -
No, no, I didn't mean to say you did badly. It's just that 'zoom'
feature really isn't much of a feature when you realize what it
really is/means. $200 is great for a 7.1. I've got an older G5
with 5.0 mp. I'm looking to get a newer one soon.

You will love the camera, I have one just like it. I find myself taking it with me everywhere, then come home put it on the charging dock and print high quality pics. Or you can use a computer, shame of it is I dont know how to post pics on the net. 0 -

I run everything through my computer. I use my epson printer to print all my pics as it does make true photo quality prints.
I'll play with it some today as it rain through the night and I will not get to try the new mower because it is too wet.0 -
Do you have the printer dock? You will be amazed at the pic quality. It even puts a coat of the shiny looking plastic over the pic, they really look great. Have fun![8D] 0
