Yankees Lose!

Proof that there is a God. Lost by 2 in Yankee Stadium.
I listened to part of the game on Yankee home radio, am 880. They have a female announcer. She kept blaming the Yankees' woes on the "bugs" in that game in Cleveland.
Five years from now, the Yankees will still be blaming those bugs.
Cry in your beer, New York. Indians go on the the championship.

    Let me say, she has a high pitched screechy voice with a hard Yankee accent. Listening to her is as pleasant as hearing fingernails scratched on a blackboard.
    Let's see, she is in a very liberal PC city, wonder how she got a job that she is utterly unqualified for?

    Of course, every team is in it to win and you should always give it your max- but that said I'd rather see ANY team win than the Yankees. They're piggish. The smirking, smarmy, overpaid SOB's got it handed to them by a team who did it the old fashioned way- building up internally and developing into a great team. No superstars. Only a few stars. Just good ball playing.

    And if it costs Joe Torre his job, so much the better. I'm sick of looking at his sour mug on tv. Cleveland lost Mike Hargrove under similar circumstances, and Steinbrenner was right on- if he couldn't win with that payroll and those players, he should be out.

    Oh and for all of you who said that the Yankees would win the series- I just have one thing to say:

    Cleveland Rocks Cleveland Rocks CLEVELAND ROCKS!

    I was listening to ESPN radio at lunch. There is a guy with a show on there named Colin Cowerd.
    It was great, today Colin spent ten minutes talking about how worthless that female Yankee announcer is, how she has such a shrill voice that is unfit for radio.
