ar15 mag well strong enough for 12 ga recoil?

This is a 12 ga 870 that mounts on the magazine well of an AR15. Never seen one of these before.

Next thing ya know a person will be able to mount a cup holder, beef jerky, and a beanie baby on the AR15.

  That set up has been around for a while but it normaly uses a SBS shotgun on a BBL type mount like the M203. Since that shotgun has an 18" + bbl you do not run into a ATF issue.

  it might scrath an ar, but is is not a structural challenge

  And you loose the use of one cheese grater rail. To be truly practical, the 870 should have about 5 rails on it to make up for the loss of one.
