Wonder what party he is going ot run with in the end? Republican or as a Independant, as the main Republican party big wigs dislike him? The main Rebublican party anymore is not in the least conservative to say the least in the past 4 years. Damn it, get out and vote in this next election or it will be too late. I wonder just how many of us have even registered to vote, let alone actually voted. Just "mouthing out" in forums dont do any good. At least vote . Then you can talk. 0 -
I was wondering the same thing, Joe. If he has persuaded 100 or so of his colleagues to take his stand on illegal immigration and border security, as he has claimed, then he might run on the Republican ticket. Such a route might be best as well. 0 -

Thank your for coming onto my web site and expressing support for my efforts since I formed my Presidential Exploratory Committee.
For the last eight years of my life, I've fought for the Security of America's Borders and for Immigration Sanity.
When I was first elected to Congress, there was no organized effort to fight the Open Borders crowd who ran Capitol Hill. Things looked very bleak.
So I formed the House Immigration Reform Caucus, which now boasts over 100 members. Since I formed the caucus, NOT A SINGLE ILLEGAL ALIEN AMNESTY BILL HAS PASSED in Congress!
But the other side has recently been encouraged by the election of the new liberal Congress, where the Open Borders crowd is more powerful than ever. Now Pelosi and Kennedy are in charge. They are going to fight hard for illegal alien amnesties and sharply higher immigration.
It broke all our hearts last weekwhen we heard President Bush hint in his State of the Union Address that he was prepared to work mostly with Democrats to push through a "comprehensive" immigration bill that would, whatever he calls it, include a massive amnesty for illegal aliens.

And here's the thing that REALLY makes me angry.
Most Republican Candidates for President agree with Pelosi and Kennedy, working day and night for millions more immigrants, for amnesty after amnesty.
If I don't run, the Frightening Possibility is that BOTH the Republican and Democratic nominees for President in 2008 will advocate a virtual abandonment of border security.
Don't believe it? Think about a President John McCain. He co-sponsored a bill last year to DOUBLE legal immigration. McCain SCORNS the defenders of America's borders. He HATES the border fence.
How about a President Sam Brownback? A good man, we all agree. But Brownback NEVER MET AN AMNESTY HE DIDN'T LIKE! He wants all illegal aliens to be made citizens.
So maybe you think Mitt Romney is better? Romney is WAFFLING on strong borders. He's recently said in private that some sort of illegal alien amnesty may be necessary. He refused to support those persecuted Border Patrol agents who were recently sent to prison for wounding an illegal alien drug dealer.
When I'm President of the United States, the Illegal Alien Drug Dealers will go to prison for long sentences. Border Patrol Agents will be supported and valued!

Do you want someone fighting in the Republican primaries who holds your views on the issues that matter most?
I'm sure you don't want amnesty supporters Rudy Giuliani or Chuck Hagel getting the nomination!
My friends, I've just about gone through the entire list of Republican candidates! Will the banner of immigration reform be waved? That depends on me getting your support.
My convictions don't change with the weather. I believe in strong borders, national security, and an end to immigration abuses.

Limit government powers

Tom would be OK as VP behind Ron Paul. Tom is running on a ONE issue campaign. Illegal immigration. (Which IS a MAJOR problem)
As the #1 man Ron Paul would better uphold the constitutional issues (I hope) and Tom could pursue his illegal immigration issue, without having as much potential for hurting us "too bad" on other issues.0 -
Hate to be a pessimist, but we will never get a good, Constitution supporting, Constitution following President.
Anyone who espouses these ideals is branded a kook, nut or radical. The Fed has essentially won the war on the free future of America. Way too many citizens are all for the "cradle to grave" entitlement state.
An open rebellion by multi-millions, or, preferably by a number of states i.e., outright refusal to follow Federal dictates, mandates and regulations, would be necessary to even begin to have an impact on the mess we have become.
I fully support this non-violent rebellion.
Does anyone see that happening?????
**This is not an advocation for armed open rebellion, although that is a real possibility if things continue as they are.
By the way, I will support Tancredo if no one better comes along. My vote will never again be cast for "the lesser of two evils", period.0 -
