... ([?][?][?]) ... for me, kids and discipline. I have been accused (not in a bad way by friends and family) of being too tough on my kids. My wife and I started instilling discipline on our sons at a very young age when parental guidance and influence is easier. [^]

  There is a fine balance between too much and too little, if your kids grow up and hate you, you probably crossed the line.
  
  Better to have a little too much than a little too little though.

  I believe in strong discipline in a way you can earn a childs respect. My nephews dont mind their parents but they listen to everything I tell them, and Ive never even had to raise my voice.
