    When I watched it on the big screen, I swear that I could almost feel the hair growing on my chest and knuckles.

    Good stuff, odd cinematography, but good stuff.[^][^]

    The effects were good but not as good as the message.That these men were willing to stand for their country against an unstoppable army,to preserve the lives and quality of life of their women and children to,not willing to submit or let themselves or countrymen be put into slavery.To test themselves as warriors.To face death and know that their deaths would help continue the growth of their country and the safety of what they loved.I thought the movie was excellent on all counts.The acting,effects,the message its an all around great movie.

    If you get a chance to see it in IMAX, it's awesome. We saw it for the 2nd time in Vegas.

    Best fight scenes so far...by far. The cartoon effects (like the cartoon wolf[xx(]) knocked my overall enjoyment of the movie quite a bit. That reminded me of Chariots of Fire. I don't understand why they did that!?!

    Gotta remember that 90%+ of all films are now made for the 15-25 year old
    market - sad for us, who have grown up with truly great/grand films, but
    nonetheless true.

    True, the effects were like "The Matrix" but over all it kept my interest up.

    There are some great lines in that movie, like when the Queene is sending off the King and she says to him:

    "Come back with your shield, or come back on it."

    Such a loving send off, enough to bring a tear[:p]

    Well looks like you ruined the plot for me...



    Actually saw it in the theater. It was probably the best film I've seen this year. I didn't care for the message of Letters from Iwo Jima so much.
