UPDATE ON THE NICKEL MINES SHOOTING
[V]In today's Phila. Inquirer it is reported that four of the five girls injured in the shooting have returned to school. The fifth girl is 'described as completely disabled.'
I'd estimate that most of the $3.6 million raised will go to take care of her. Over the course of her lifetime, that's not that much money. I hope they invest it wisely. The new school is under roof. The whole community is pitching in on the construction.
In contrast, two gang members shot it out at a Philadelphia high school yesterday. Too bad we can't get the nut cases to go after the gangsters. [}:)]

I am glad that, at least four of them were able to get back to school.
