Same as the rest of us ....klinkies !!!0 -
May I ask what's wrong with a Remington 700? 0 -
Those CZ rifles are excellent and a great value.[^] 0 -
Yeah, I want that 6.5X55 too. 6.5mm is the best bullet to never catch on here in the states. 0 -

Especially with the deals I get.
I'm a CZ man, through and through. I love their triggers, and I don't fall for the norm(the norm being a Rem 700 or Ruger M77).
What's holding me back? I just ordered a Kahr P45, haven't even recieved it yet.
Sooner or later. They are next on the list, unless I get the job that I am wanting(I'll tell you about that later). It does involve an M4, Class 4 vest, and sidearm. Details to come later as I recieve them, otherwise I've been recruited by a special organization.0 -
I have one in 9.3
cz's rule, but
ouch[B)] on the recoil!0 -
Wow! Love the first one. Never seen them or heard of them before. 0 -
Did you get recruited into the Army?
How is your wife with this dangerous new job?0 -

No. A private fugitive recovery buisness.
I'll have more details as they come.
He has work already lined up, including bailjumpers in Puerto Rico worth $100-250k.
She has mixed emotions, but we will start slowly and locally.
I will find out if the gentleman(20yr vet who still works with the CIA and FBI) is actually serious, then I'll be hitting the gym hardcore and picking up an M4 and Class 4 vest.
Survellience, tracking, and arrests. He will handle all training, including hand to hand and CQC and all licensing necessary.
We'll see, I'm a little skeptical on this one. Although it would be awesome.0 -
I Love 6.5 x 55 SE, sweet shooting, check out Sako 85, little bit more than CZ. http://www.sako.fi/ 0 -

I know a couple guys who got into that line of work and it is more involved then what is being presented.
The guys I know are now working 40 hour a week jobs again so it is not what all it was supposed to be.
They also told me the field is saturated with private companies and individuals trying to apprehend fugitives.
If it works out for you it would be good and hope you all the best.
I will see one of the guys tomorrow and can ask him any questions you would like to know from someone who experienced it firsthand.
I have talked with him about it out of just an interest in his adventures and he did do a lot of traveling.
He also was into the whole private investigator stuff.0 -
If I were to pick up a 6.5x55 ... it would be a Swedish Mauser

Thanks for the concern MVP. He said this will be a trial thing, as far as the buisness is concerned. I will continue working at my normal job, and help him on my 3 days off. We see how it all goes down then go from there. Believe me, I'm taking baby steps in this thing. I'm not sure how to approach it.
He wants to get a local "branch" started, then move on to place a few other "branches" in other cities. Maybe Indianapolis, Gary, South Bend, Bloomington, etc.
I do hope it becomes a steady job with regular pay, it would have to pay VERY well for me to quit my job now.
Like I said, we'll see.0 -
The 6.5x55 is a great round.
Has killed more polar bears than any other cartridge, no kidding.0
