Mike Vick is a Mutt

Give these college kids enough cash in the draft and they think they are invinsible. Not to paraphrase but "money corrupts - absolute money corrupts absolutely". 0 -
Can you say "CONVICT"
EX-NFL star
EX-Multi-millionair
EX-dog owner0 -
People that take enjoyment out of this kind if activity are, in my humble opinion, sub-human. I hope he gets five years in jail to think about the things he threw away. Money, fame, the guy had everything, but he was just plain stupid. 0 -
On top of the world with Money, women, nice stuff, great athletic ability and health. Throws it all away.[V] 0 -
I can listen to Atlanta talk radio late at night on the am dial.
The scoop is that Vick is now broke, and is going to anyone he can begging for money to pay the lawyers.0 -
allen, I feel his pain! 0 -
Bobby Petrino has to be the happiest coach in the NFL. He's rid of "coach killer" Mike and has what looks like a pretty decent team. Vick has all the tools in spades(no pun intended) but no brain. For a while I thought that with a couple seasons experience he might lose the "happy feet", settle down and become a decent passer with a serious run threat ala Don McNabb. Wrong. Everybody in the league figured him out pretty quick. Bring the heat with a pass rush and he'll either most likely make a bad choice for a pass or take off. If he takes off they have guys assigned for that and most of the time they get him. He's a fine enough runner to still be a threat when he skidaddles but they've done a good job on him the last 2 seasons. He's taken a pounding and has shown to be a bit fragile, these defensive apes like nothing more than knocking the enemy QB out of the game. If an NFL QB can only do one thing really good it better be passing. Vick has proven he's not up to NFL speed here. Upgrade the Falcons chances this season with Harrington instead of Vick. 0 -

Well written, Dakto!!
I am a long suffering Atlanta fan, by accident of geography. I mean, I attended the first game they played, at Atlanta Stadium in 1965. The drunk guy behind me kept yelling out, "Go Fulcrums," I knew we were in trouble, the drunks don't even know the name of your team.
Vick is a coach killer, as the father of the last coach Vick killed so aptly put it.
He runs too much, and this causes him to get hurt too much. He thinks he is still in high school, and is heads and shoulders better than anyone else on the field.
Mike, welcome to the NFL.
It is the best thing that has happened to the Falcons since the unfortunate day they drafted Vick, that they are finally rid of him. Too bad that great sub qb got away.0
