Armenian Genocide
I am still ticked off about the resolutions our moron politicians spend time and effort pursuing. The massacre of Armenians in Turkey in 1915 was terrible. The Turks living today did not perform this massacre. This bull@#$% resolution casts guilt at the Turks of today.
If the so-called progressives want to achieve world peace I would strongly recommend they quit horse-whipping the descendants of those invloved. This "resolution" just shows how our politicians operate with a school yard naivete.

And these same folks want you to pay decendants for slavery.
The slime driving this crap to the front today are anti-war back stabbers. They know Turkey will boot our azzes out and shut down transport through Turkey if the resolution gets passed. It is a underhanded slimy way for slimeballs like Harry Reid to interfere with the war putting our troops in more danger. They lack the balls to stand up and vote to defund the war.0 -
The US followed the same stupid policy in Iran which was a critical ally in the mideast.
The Armenian genocide was a horror equal to some of those perpetrated by the Germans and Japs on the Allies and certain enemies of their regimes. It's all true BUT Turkey is a critical ally of the US today
and it's a big mistake for the US to threaten today's relationship.0 -
Yep it makes you wonder what the heck is the hidden agenda that they are trying to push forward.[:0][:0]
I shake my head in wonder trying to figure out who votes for these people!![:0][:0][:0]0 -
One of the few things which actually works about "The People's House" (the House of Reps) is that we can kick their asses out soon.

It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone since Nancy Pelosi represents a district that is 40% Armenian. They have a tendency to be wealthy and very politicially active... which means that good ol' Pelosi decided to try and ramrod a resolution through that would alienate a close ally just because a few thousand arrogant, overbearing, loudmouthed Armenian screwheads can't get over something that happened close to 100 years ago.
Of course, there's lots of money to made if you manage to get yourself labeled a victim. Take a look at the families of 9-11 ($38+ billion), Holocaust payments ($60+ billion), and descendants of survivors of the "Native American genocide" ($2.2 billion in 2006 alone).
Victimhood is big business and these losers know it.0 -

I agree bpost, the Dems lack the balls to vote to defund the war, so they push this chickencrap resolution in an attempt to sabotage the war.
As bad as the Republicans are, the Dems are worse.0
