WTC attacks

For the life of me, I can't see why it is offensive to see the airplanes hitting the WTC towers. The news channels seem to avoid it like the plague. I think they should show it at every news break or at least hourly. It is like Pearl Harbor. Those people are at war with us. They want to kill us or make us bow to their religion. I feel sorrow for the people who lost kin in the bombings but How about Pearl Harbor, they show the bombing nightly in documantrys.
I, personally, like to see the planes hitting the towers. It should show all americans what we have to look out and protect for. Tom

    The answer is b/c the liberal media wants us to forget about the attacks and feel sorry for the mid-eastern people and the stereotypes we bad Americans put on them!!!

    those people (the ones that plot against us and pray for our destruction) are dirt, they should be treated like dirt, marched upon, spit upon, urinated upon. I feel this way about all america haters everywere, and I can feel this way because I live in the GREAtest NATION ON EARTH! Sure It has its flaws but its is far superior to that dirthole they call a "holyland".

    It is done all in the name of being politically correct. You wouldn't want to offend the Muslims. You don't want to remind people why we're fighting them in the Middle East (please don't anyone bring up the asinine argument that Saddam didn't take part in 9/11 -- everyone knows that but the terrorists are in Iraq nonetheless). When Democrats (i.e. the blame-America-first crowd) are in a groove, you don't want to remind Americans why we should be patriotic and have pride on our country. It detracts from the message of MUST BLAME BUSH and everything is America's fault.

    They should show the planes hitting the towers, and they should show the people jumping from the towers. If you don't want to watch it, change the channel.
