AAHH yes didnt think of CCR thanks 0 -
I've been done planting for nearly a month, but we are so dry that we have very spotty germination.
I would guess less than 5% of my sunflowers for Dove season have sprouted, but the corn is fair and the beans look good.
We need rain, my backyard is already showing cracks in the lawn, and has been since late May. That usually doesn't happen until August.0 -
Some Stones, can't think of any titles right now.
Lynard Skynard?
Jim Croche?0 -
Damn you must be dry if only 5% of your sunflowers came up.....we have planted them on dry years here with planter set a deep as it will go to not quite get them in good moisture and get them up.
everybody here is mudding in sunflowers here now...i was just border line today on mudding in millet today.....mudding in millet doesnt work for crap....0 -

I would like to buy some wheat right out of the field, should I just ask around the watering whole, or flag down a grain truck at a stop sign, hang around the cenex?
I drive through wheat country every year at harvest and tell myself I should get some of that [mostly to be sure it aint poisoned] but I don't want to bother them when they are busy.0 -
sneak in a few seeds of america's #1 cash crop and "don't bogard that joint" (easy rider soundtrack) would be a great song. only kidding stick with the wheat it sounds like a real nice place 0 -
yeah, but did you do it by hand or with mechanized machinery? a real man would hand plant it.[:p] 0 -
...ZZ Top, Eagles, Doors, Stevie Ray, Fleetwood Mac...and what no invite?...[8D]

by mechanized machinery.......dont think i could plant 320 acres in day by hand[:D] pry be a pretty hungry world if only a hand full of the worlds population done the farming by hand[;)]
longsantafe....how much wheat you need? you could pry just pull up to a grain elevator during harvest when trucks are dumping some farmer pry give a bushel or two if thats all you need....bushel will make aprox 60 loafs of bread.0 -
might just be a hell of a party...wheat closed up 23-30 cents higher today[:D] 0 -
