AUTO OR REVOLVER
Do you have the same habit as me? Occasionally, I like like to take out one of my hand guns and "play" with it. No ammo, just cycle the action and maybe dry fire. I then wipe it down and put it away. Some how this is satisfying. (Am I sick?) I also find a double action revolver more satisfying that an auto. It has to do with the feel of smooth hard steel parts working together. My Dan Wesson 357 feels good. If you are willing to admit to this activity which do you prefer, auto or revolver?

In a delirious state, such as just waking up, a double action revolver in .38 Special would be ideal. 0 -
No problem. My dog has already barked or bitten the problem. My 12 gauge is under the bed. The flash of light is the only thing the party will see when they enter the bedroom. 0 -

Imagine waking up to find someone in the room with you.....you panic and go for the drawer....they are wide awake, eyes used to the dark and probobly prepared for you and whatever they have planned. IF you get to your gun....it had better be ready to shoot.

Revolver. When you pull the trigger on your semi-auto and it goes "click," you start taking it apart. If my revolver goes "click," I pull the trigger again.
I do have semiautos, but the one by the bed is a revolver.0 -
