He got the house when his mother passed away and he worked 60-70 hours a week till they made him retire. He didn't spend his money on anything else, he just saved it.
He earned his money and spent it on what he wanted to collect.

as i stated in the other thread it did not look like one million rounds of anything, if you've ever seen a million rounds of ammo you would know it would take up a pallet at least 5 feet high, i have a friend who deals in tractor trailer loads every week so i have seen ten million rounds on pallets stacked neatly, but as far as cost goes you can get a deal buying ten thousand or better at a time, and who knows he could have been a re-loader it did not say, i could buy a million rounds of .45 for under 70,000

The more I think about the amount he had the less I think it was a million. It might have been 2-300,000. He had a far amount of .22LR. I am still PO'ed they said it was a million. I'm just waiting for the National press to get a hold of it and blow it out of proportion.

The way ammo has gone up in price the last couple of years it was a very good investment if nothing else.

And he was not a re-loader.
