what is the max amount you can buy of bulk ammo online
My brothers and I are going to a course at front sight for a 4 day course and we will need 2400 rounds of 40cal. no reloads
we can only carry 11 lb of ammo each on the plane.

I remember the good old days, four years ago, and the Turkish 8mm ammo.
Any gun show you went to, they practically gave the stuff away. Four or five guys at each gun show had cases of it stacked to the ceiling. You could buy this funky bandoleer of this stuff, held 70 shots, for $4. Every time I saw the stuff it was the same, $4 per bando. By the case, it was cheaper still.
An outfit in Tennessee was selling it by the case, ten bandos for $30. So cheap it might as well be free. It was pretty good ammo, interestingly, in the decades since manufacture, it had gotten a little hotter than it was originally. But, fairly accurate, corrosive, of course. This stuff was around in abundance for at least five years.
    Today, all gone.
