A/C condensate drips onto floor
I have a 1996 Nissan pickup, 4 cylinder with 4wd.
When I run the a/c the water that condenses drips onto the floor on the passenger's side.
I have taken the glove box out, and taken that sheet metal out, and gotten to the plastic box that the a/c heat exchanger sets in. There was a quart of water in that box. I mopped it out with a cloth.
Last year, I had the same problem. I opened that box and there was a mouse nest in there. Now, there is no mouse nest.

There should be a drain hole/hose out the bottom of the box. It's blocked. 0 -
drill a hole in the floor board[:D] 0 -

Yup, probably with some mouse nest0 -
THe tube on my Mazda Pickup would get blocked by pine needles... 0 -
Allen, see my thread on the Caravan. I have the same problem. If you get it fixed, please give me a yellover there. Will do same if I find/fix my problem. Tom 0 -

It is quite obvious that is the problem. It is common for these tubes to become blocked and cause water to drip inside the car.
I am amazed at the people who don't understand the very basic operation of a car-the heater core folks-who feel they are qualified to give advice on this. If my tire was flat they would tell me to check the air filter because it is related to air. What a bunch of maroons.0 -
I found the little tube, gave it a blast of compressed air, and it cleaned out.
