Sig I am going to fix it up on the inside for now so me and the family can live in it untill I can get our house started, then I have 5 horses that i will build stalls for and tyhe rest will be a shop for myself [:D][:D][:D].

Fine looking house/barn. We have friends in north Texas who did the same thing. When their boys were small--10-12ish--they built a shop/barn and moved in until they could build their house. Now their sons are in their early 20's and the sons have bought 80 acres near the parents. They (the sons) are getting ready to do the same thing for themselves. Seems to work well. Wish my family was still young enough--and we had the land to do the same. 0 -

yep thats the plan my girls are 6 and 11 and we have a 29' 5th wheel to kind of get away if needed0 -

I plan on building a big barn still shop with some living area in it and then attach it to a house latter. I'm thinking of a mansard style of a roof on it. I saw one yesterday and need to get back by and take a picture of it, it is attached to the house.
