I can't get in to my Yahoo mail account
Yesterday I was deleting excess cookies. I accidentally deleted my Yahoo mail cookie. Later, I tried to get in to my mail account. Naturally, Yahoo made me re register, with my email address and password.
I signed in with my email address and password. However, Yahoo would still not let me in. I got this notice: "The browser you're using refuses to sign in [cookies rejected]."
I went to check my cookies. I had the box checked "allow site to set cookies." But, I also had the box checked "unless I have removed cookies set by the site."
So I unchecked the box "unless I have removed cookies set by the site."
I went back to Yahoo, and it still will not let me in, and it still says "The browser you're using refuses to sign in [cookies rejected].
In the course of doing all this I managed to wipe out my cookies to this site and a couple others. After I unchecked the box "unless I have removed cookies set by the site" I was able to get back into gunbroker and the other forums.
What gives?

After you unchecked the box you needed to close and restart the browser. 0 -
After I unchecked the box I shut the computer down and restarted it.
Still, no Yahoo email.0 -
What browser are you using(program name ie internet explorer)? How did you try to access your mail account, what site did you go to? If you didn't already, try going to www.yahoo.com and accessing your email through the links. The more information you add, the more helpful we can be. 0 -

I got looking around the "exceptions" window in the cookies section.
It turned out that when I had deleted a cookie, that cookie was stuck in the "exceptions" box and was blocked.
So, I just unblocked all the cookies, and then I could get into Yahoo mail.
thanks for the help0
