Buffalo Meat is #1
My new favorite red meat is Buffalo.
Grilled up a some T bones and they are delicious.
The only thing that resembled anything I have eaten from the wild would be the fat or grease reminded me of Bear fat with the same texture and greasyness.
The meat was better then beef to me.

Most definatly! I really love buffalo meat.
MVP, If you are wanting one for butcher I might be able to set you up with a friend of mine up in Marysville WA. I have not talked to him in a while but he was raiseing them there last I did talk to him.0 -
Try Elk or Antelope. They are good too!

I am not set up to raise them here and probably don't have the time to raise one.
I have two friends who are raising them and they both have 10+ in their herds right now.
The one I got this meat from has 3 pregnant females right now and one is going to drop a calf any day.0 -

I have had Elk and Antelope and agree they are great meats.
I am a huge deer meat fan also.
I have eaten almost all Large animals in the North America including aligators.
Buffalo was my last one to try.0 -
I have had elk, buffalo, deer. The best is moose meat. 0
