Overheard a fellow bragging of this just the other day. Sounds like one might as well use a shotgun with slugs!

were you playing in BDUs? (or ACU or whatever the heck they call the new ones)

I play in a MARPAT knockoff (doesn't have the EGA in the pattern like the real deal) and most hits hardly hurt at all, more often then not I'm thinking about a million other things in the heat of a "firefight" so I barely realize I was hit then when I shower I'm like "WTH where did that welt come from"

About frozen paintballs: that's a damn dirty trick and I reserve the right to bayonet anyone I catch doing it.

Actually alot of cops and armed forces that are doing the real thing play airsoft and paintball because it keeps them on their toes and they can practice.

In the airsoft league here in Houston there is one guy that just got back from Iraq and another that is a officer and ex-ranger. There are more, but those are the only ones I've talked with directly since I haven't gone to one of their games yet.

I do not "play" with guns. Shooting at another human with a round ball that can exceed 350 FPS is not play. Freezing the projectile is even more grounds to consider it "not play" [V]

It would not be wise to shoot at me................

When paintballing here in Greenland, we have to use "Winter"-grade paintballs (obviously)

Regular summer-grade paintballs have a harder shell due to the generally higher temperatures - sort of like winter and summer tires.
Wintergrade paintballs in the summer, usually leaves you with a messed up paintballgun - as the paintballs break in the gun during firing.

Summergrade paintballs hurt like heck and doesn't always break. Also leaves some nasty bruises if you use them in the winter.

I got this when I made entry into a building and the first to guys started taking fire and bottleneck the doorway. After they went down, that was how we where playing you get hit you have to drop, I think I ran over them. I caught this one in the side of the leg from about 3' or less. The guy was laying under a table next to the door. I advanced on the guy that dropped the two at the door while firing, taking him out, when I realized that I was hit in the leg. So I drop and take out the guy under the table, I was just hit in the leg so I figured that I was still in the fight.

Had the guys not stopped in the doorway to fire we would have been better off. They where not in the mind set of moving while shooting.

Remember this is my leg, that bruise is good size and was very sore for days.
