Auto Subscription to a thread?

I'm new to this forum and wondered if there is a setting I can turn on so I am automatically suscribed to the threads I post in. I checked the profile page but did not see this as an option.

I am active on an automotive site which has this feature so I thought it may be avaiable here.

  Two places you can do it, one is on the posting page just above the button you hit to post. The other is on the topic page with all of the options, like reply.
  
  When you get an email about a new post it wont tell you what post till after you open the email.
