wish i could say that, but it's that time when you guys take off and yer trucks are parked that we get called in to replace all the glass in the gov and city trucks and cruisers. auto glass suck some times. 0 -

Z- don't you recall? It used to be We had holidays to celebrate Lincoln's birthday and ten days later we got to celebrate Washington's birthday. Someone had a problem with that, so they took away the birthday celebrations and replaced them with a day honoring all the Presidents, and another honoring all the Kings. Another giant step for humanity. 0 -

Working for Old Uncle and having gov't holidays off doesn't make up for the substandard wages many of us are paid for the work we do. I am glad to have my job, but I think I'm worth more than the GS level my position is allowed. 0 -

I took the 6 day weekend. Wed & Thurs annual leave to deal with snow, RDO on Fri, holiday today. Work 3 days this week and then TDY to Vegas Baby for 2-3 weeks.

Today is my normal day off but I still get the holiday pay. [8D]
But then I had to work Christmas day and New Years Eve last year. [:(] I did get holiday pay. [:)]0
