Anyone ever heard of Qwest plumbing?
We are now experiencing our 6th leak in as many years. Apparently there was a class action lawsuit on this stuff but I think we're too late to file. Anyone know anything on this?

Is that the thin blue or black plastic pipes that go all over your house from one central manifold? If so, there was a lawsuit on that stuff. There were many houses here in Va built that way. 0 -
The Cox vs. Shell settlement involves certain polybutylene plumbing systems installed between January 1, 1978 and July 31, 1995. Claimants may be eligible for a replacement of their plumbing system at no charge and/or a leak expense reimbursement if they qualify. That is the one I was thinking of. Lots of older houses around here have that stuff. I did not know about, thankfully our Realtor told us about it and we avoided all the houses with that stuff installed.0 -

It is a nice idea as it will work with anything, plastic, metal, threaded or compression. I have not heard of the lawsuit however. 0
