You have some 3 inch Model 29s/629s don't you ??

Have you ported any of them ??

If so, how would you compare the before and after characteristics??

    Thank you.

I think we've had two of them in the shop. We had a guy call asking for a price on the new Ruger AR's. We gave him a price and he called back asking if we could get him 8 of them. I informed him that we could and asked why he was looking for so many...went on to ask him if he was the actual purchaser of all 8 units. He said that he and his brother wanted to buy some as investments. He then called back and said he wanted to meet us before placing the order, to get to know us....feel us out. We told him how to find our store. He showed up with his "brother" and I'll be shocked beyond imagination if they were not both cops. He went on to ask us about how much some magazines were worth b/c they had found a cop's black duffel bag full of Glock mags on the side of the road...supposedly, a cop must have left it there. I told him that I hope it was XXXX XXXXX's bag and that he got into trouble over it...and then explained our run in with this officer. I guess they were hoping that we'd bite and try to buy the mags from them. In any case, we explained to them the details of making a straw purchase...and how it was a felony. He inquired about the paperwork...whether or not we could transfer all the guns at once and what kind of paper trail there was. We informed him that we could sell him a hundred guns at a time if he was the actual purchaser. We also informed them that the only additional paperwork required was for multiple handgun purchases...and about the multiple hand sales reports. He has called back a couple times since...just to let us know he's working on getting the money together. I'd bet you $1000 right now that both of those boys work for the ISP...not that I really care, b/c we do EVERYTHING by the book.[;)][:)]

I apologize for egging you on as I have been doing. Sometimes, I get so wrapped up in the ideas I'm presenting that I refuse to accept the thoughts of others.

Not a very classy thing to do to people that I consider my friends - as I consider you to be.

Your Corvettes are fine cars of which you have every right to be very proud, how ever you define them.

    They are indeed Muscle Cars.

I just never considered my Corvettes to be Muscle Cars, so I guess I rejected that definition out-of-hand.

Cars, like firearms, are tangibles that inspire passion in many people.

I hope you accept me sincere apology.

Gary - I just got up - another sleepless night, and I clearly didn't understand to what you were referring.

You're right - that was an inappropriate response from Eric.

As far as I was concerned, the guy on the video seemed to be saying true things about the state of our Nation, which is why I started the thread.

If you believe that I was being offensive to either you or the Roman Catholic Church, I sincerely apologize.

That was not my intent - AT ALL.

    Best,

    Doug

    Is this your C-List Listing???
If so... You've got some wild imagination!!!

I tried and I can't post the Link ... listing was posted from Ellerbe SC.

    C&P Craig's List:

OK, let me start off by saying this 1999 sierra is only available for purchase by the manliest of men (or women). My friend, if it was possible for a vehicle to sprout chest hair and a five o'clock shadow, this GMC would look like Tom Selleck. It is just that manly.

It was never intended to drive to the mall so you can pick up that adorable shirt at Abercrombie & Fitch that you had your eye on. It wasn't meant to transport you to yoga class or Linens & Things. No, that's what your PT loser is for. If that's the kind of car you're looking for, then just do us all a favor and stop reading right now. I mean it. Just stop.

This car was engineered by 3rd degree american warriors in the heart of detroit to serve the needs of the man that cheats death on a daily basis. They didn't even consider superfluous nancy boy amenities like navigation systems (real men don't get lost), heated leather seats (a real man doesn't let anything warm his butt), or On Star (real men don't even know what the heck On Star is).

No, this brute comes with the things us testosterone-fueled super action junkies need. It has a 270 HP engine to outrun the cops. 4WD to get through any terrain, It's got special blood/gore resistant upholstery. It even has a first-aid kit in the back. You know what the first aid kit has in it? A pint of whiskey, a stitch-your-own-wound kit and a hunk of leather to bite down on when you're operating on yourself. The truck also has an automatic transmission so if you're being chased by Libyan terrorists, you'll still be able to shoot your machine gun out the window and drive at the same time. It's saved my bacon more than once.

It has room for you and the five hotties you picked up on the way to the gym to blast your pecs and hammer your glutes. There's a tow hitch to pull your 50 caliber anti-Taliban, self cooling machine gun. I also just put in a new tires on to replace the ones that got shot out by The Man.

My price on this bad boy is an incredibly low $5,900, but I'll entertain reasonable offers. And by reasonable, I mean don't walk up and tell me you'll give me $2,500 for it. That's liable to earn you a Burmese-roundhouse-kick with a follow up three fingered eye-jab. Would it hurt? ahh yeah. Let's just say you won't be the prettiest guy at the Coldplay concert anymore.

There's 201,000 miles on this four-wheeled beast. But trust me, theres plenty of life left on this beast. The heater doesn't work, but then again your a brute of a man, so little comforts like Heat probably don't upset you too much, but it is repairable, the AC works great though. Everybody loves AC.

Now, go look in the mirror and tell me what you see. If it's a rugged, no holds barred, super brute he-man macho Chuck Norris stunt double, then contact me. I might be out hang-gliding or BASE jumping or just chilling with my ladies, but I'll get back to you. And when I do, we'll discuss how you can make this amazing piece of American machinery yours. call me at 803-664-0933 and we'll figure this deal out.

call the local building department. There are usually laws concerning this. He should be forced to install a heater.

In Texas the landlord has 24 hours to have it repaired or to have a contract in place with a certified repairman to have the problem corrected in a "reasonable" amount of time. Reasonable is not defined in the law.

If the tenant chooses to seek "reasonable" alternate housing until the repair is made, the landlord must reduce the rent to cover the cost. Again, reasonable is not defined in the law.

we were living in N.C. back in the 90's.
the heater went out, fuel oil furnace.
the lanlord took his damn time.
we had to hold the rent check, to get
his attention. the day the heater went
out he talk with us, o yea get right on it.
by the 1st of the month, 3 weeks later it
was cold as hell, no heat.
once he had no money coming in, he fixed quick.

Looks like the Landlord is going to have to have the home rewired and the chimney relined IF he decides to use the chimney. Alternate heat source would be according to what the house is set up with ( gas , electric furnace ) Pending on state and their agreement, what to do for housing for Tenant. Tenants rent being paid up till end of month could go toward motels till the home is repaired. Landlord in SC is only required to reimburse tenant for security deposit and rent not used ( paid to date ).
