Tell me this is worth a lot.....
Found a penny on the floor today at the store, hoping somebody can tell me something good about it, like maybe it being worth millions of dollars. My USB is still not working so I cannot show a picture, but it is a 1917 Wheat Penny. Pretty worn down, but I can still read the 1917 with a D under it. Tell me I got something, and I might sell it to you. Anyone think I should shine this thing up, or keep it as it is?

Woa! A 1917 wheat penny from the Delaware mint! That's awesome! I'm sorry to say that it's worth about a penny. [:D] Had it been un-circulated it would be worth about $11 bucks. [;)]
I was really hoping to quit my job and start my own business, but I guess that's not going to work out just yet.0 -

1917 is the year my papa was born. He'll be 90 next month, God willing. Pretty long time to be around--for a penny AND for a papa. [^] 0 -

I think you mean 1909 S (San Francisco) VDB
First year and I believe the most desirable of all Lincoln pennines.
I always wanted one along with a 1916-D Mercury Dime and I think A 1937 D "3 legged" buffalo nickel
Put the penny back where you found it!! It will be cheaper in the long run!!0 -
A 17D in good condition is listed at $2 retail. 0
