Don't go to the ER on Friday!

Waiting for hours and hours! It's just a bad sprain and she'll be fine.

The daughter-in-law is beside herself that Sherry got hurt and she wasn't there. Maybe this will start to open her eyes.

The oldest is 16 and she thought he could watch them. I told her when I got there they were split up in twos and he had no clue she had been hurt.

Dad is pissed at mom, kids feel cheated out of a fun day, mom is bawling like a two year old, and Sherry can't walk.

    You will know if she learned a lesson pretty soon. I know people like that....they usually don't get better. The kids grow into the ages that they can handle things as they come along and the parent is less responsible for the outcome.....because the kids handle everything. I have a friend that has an 11 yr old that I would leave to babysit all three of mine.....she is so "grown." The mom has left her at practice and forgotten to pick her up so many times the girl knows to walk over to the gas station and start calling people. Its pitiful and inspiring to see kids go through these things. I try to be as good a mother as I can.....but nobody is perfect.

    Who knows. I know she is truely disturbed by what happened and knows she should have been there, but I don't think she'll let anything, including this, get between her and her shopping adiction.

    I blame your son. He needs to sit down with his wife, and tell her to pull her head out of her butt, or else!

    Tell him to take charge of the situation. She sounds like an idiot who NEEDS to be told what to do. Some people just need that. Sometimes it's women, sometimes it's men. Just depends.
