Whats your favorite gun in your collection?
Whats your favorite 1 or 2 guns that you own? My favorite rifle is my Winchester Model 70 Wincam Featherweight 30-06. Favorite Handgun is my Colt King Cobra.

My Granddads model 95 06, my dads 1956 vintage model 70 feather weight 270, and my K 22 Masterpiece. I don't shoot the first two much anymore, but I still shoot the ol' smith all the time. I have several Smiths, but it's still my favorite.

well for the pistol its a toss up between my ruger mk2 or my ruger 480

Tough to answer, since it depends on what I plan on doing.
In general, my favorite long gun is my Winchester 1873 in 32 cal. Made in 1888. This followed closely by a whole flock of original Marlin lever-guns from an 1881 to an 1889, to a couple 1892s, to 1893s, to 1894s, to 1895s, to 1897s to 1936s, to 39s.
Favorite handgun is my Para "Carry" .45 ACP.
Favorite .22 is my Winchester 1885 "Winder Musket".
Favorite hunting rifle is my Remington 700 in .270.
Hell, scrap all that. I really can't give you a favorite. I like them all and my list is embarrassingly long.[:o)]0 -

That would have to be my danish Krag Jorgensen, cal 8x58RD (RimmedDanish) - model 1889, manufactured in 1911.
Story is - the rifle was invented by Krag (norwegian) and later perfected with the help of Jorgensen (dane).
The Krag Jorgensen as it was known, was implemented in the norwegian and danish armies in 1889 - in norway in the caliber 6.5x55 and in Denmark in 8x58RD.
Story of my particular rifle is, it was manufactured in 1911 and put in stock.
When te second world war came, and the danish government surrendered, the resistance/freedomfighters was told where the rifles and ammo was stored.
The rifles were then "stolen" and used against the germans.
My rifle, according to the files, was one of the rifles that was stolen.
It was later used by hunters after the war - and later again, an armsdealer bought used rifles and sent them to Greenland.
A bunch of Krag Jorgensens (short and long versions), as well as M1917's and such, were shipped to Greenland along with proper ammunition for the Greenlandic hunters.
Here, my rifle was bought by a hunter in the greenlandic side of my family - and put to good use to bring meat on the table. It has taken musk-ox'es, reindeer and seals.
It was later given to my father, when he married my mother and they moved from Greenland to Denmark.
In Denmark, I learned to shoot with that rifle at age 8 and absolutely loved it - and I still do.
Now I have inherited it, as father died in 2003.. and I've brought it back to Greenland.
I've promised myself, that the first reindeer or reindeers I shoot after moving here... WILL be with my Krag Jorgensen.
It's got so much history, that I see it fitting to also use it.
If it was good enough for the danish military, for the greenlandic hunter, for my father... it's good enough for me.
I also have original ammo from Sept., Oct., Nov. and Dec. 1966.
That ammo is just as good now, as it was back then.0 -

Hard to narrow it down as all have a place in the evolution of firearms.
I really like my 1905 Colt .45 ACP pistol, serial number 1153. It was the first weapon that chambered what was to become the standard US military pistol cartridge. It has a brass firing pin and a different grip angle than the later Model 1911. It is a very smooth shooting weapon.
My other favorite is a 1916 DWM Artillery Luger (Parabellum) with snail drum and stock/holster. As a boy, I would look at pictures of these rigs and only dream of one day owning on. The reality of having it is even better than the dream. It functions flawlessly and can hit mansize targets at over 200 yards using the sliding sights. This one will never leave until after I'm gone.[;)]0 -

A danged old suppressed 22 pistol is my fav...
From mine to anything else I have ever seen.
And I have seen a bunch.
Oh which one, it dont matter P22, Buckmark, Bobcat, but the Savage bolt action rifle is the quitest.
Spend $3 of ammo, for a full day of blasting.
And nobody knows or heard a thing[:D][:D][:D]
