Red dot
Anyone have one of the pursuit X1 mini reflex sights from bass pro shops. Would like to know if they are something that would work on a 22 for grandson. I know not to expect top of the line for the price they are asking for this one, but was wanting something easy for a six year old to use. Long trip To go look at one so was wondering if anyone had any experience with this one. Tried to post picture but apparently forgot how. Back to the drawing board I guess.

Just so you won't think you are being ignored; I read your question, but have no experience with scopes of any sort on shotguns. 0 -

Not sure about on shotguns, but I have an NcStar on my AK that works great. Never lost zero due to recoil or anything. (I do have to relazer it after cleaning as I am useing a dust cover mount) The dot is plenty bright in all lighting conditions.
I think I paid $40 for mine at a gunshow and have seen them online for not much more than that.0 -
I put a simmons on my daughters Rem 870 express 20ga and she is shooting 3 inch mags out of it and so far haven't had any problems. I also put one on her Rem model 7 in 7mm-08 and it has work well. Her first year hunting and has shot a large gobblers last spring, a hen this past fall, a doe and a buck this past hunting season, so the red dot sight has aided her. 0 -
I put a $20 Barska on my 1100 Remington and it has worked fine. I have use a number of the Tasco red dots on rifles and pistols without any problems. 0
