Here is ou812jake reply per email...i can not email pictures i would like to know why you need a copy of my license after what i had to do to get on this web site i have a very bad feeling about shady dealings NOW HERE IS THE DEAL. WHOEVER BIDS ABOVE THIS NEWBIE FOR $235 will get the gun for $230. IF THE BIDDING GOES BEYOND THAT THE HIGH BIDDER PAYS THE AUCTION PRICE. GOOD LUCK.. HE IS BLOCKED FROM BIDDING

I don't know, but I certainly would not provide my DL just to bid on an item...

Why? You would need it to buy ammo if the seller requested proof of age. The bidders email was illiterate like a 3rd graders. Doesn't matter, he would not send ANY info to verify his bid. I pulled his plug and sold it to someone else.

At first read, it sounded kinda harsh requesting the DL.

Your explanation makes a lot of sense now. Thanks for the reply.[:)]

I don't know...just seems overboard. I can see requiring it at the completion of the auction...but before you even bid? GB requires quite a bit of info (including a credit card, I think) just to be able to bid on something...but like you, I'm leary of NR buyers. The couple times I've had bad transactions were from NR people.

ECC, I made it rough for a very good reason. Jr. probably got mommies cc and registered. It happened exactly like that on Fleabay when I sold a camper a few years back. I got no response from the bidder after blocking.. he didn't put up an effort to convince me otherwise. My gut is usually pretty right when I get a weird feeling.
