Update on my dad
They moved him out of ICU today to a regular room. His breathing is greatly improved. No definate word on when he will be out but should not be more than another day or two.

I apologize for not posting sooner. Dad is stable at the moment.He's been back and forth over the last few weeks. Was out of ICU for 2 days last week and sort of conscious but very disoriented. Doesn't seem to be any brain damage but certainly some short-term memory loss. Started declining Saturday and was put back in ICU where he remains. Having kidney,liver,fever,infection,pnuemonia problems. Doctors say these are normal problems because of age,trauma,medications,etc. What's NOT normal is that they've somehow managed to dislocate his left shoulder and tear the rotator cuff and it's still some 2" distended. They said "Probably trying to MOVE him". The male nurse I spoke with Sunday got very defensive when I asked how something like this could happen,which REALLY PI$$ED me off. Sounded like he was involved and knew more than he would tell me. It's good that I'm here and not there or a few of them might have some "accidental dislocations".
Last night we got a call that my aunt,his sister, also had an aneurism and will have surgery tomorrow. Thank God they were able to diagnose hers before it ruptured, She's even at the same hospital. Thank you all for your prayers and support. Will keep you updated when I can.
P.S. I'm not going to ask "what next" because no matter how bad things are.........they CAN get worse![:(]

You should go into the room where he is with one of those gowns on yourself.....your rear end hangin out the back and only your socks on. It would make for a good story for all of the nurses to tell. 0 -
