Border Patrol is in town again!
I'm in central Idaho, Border Patrol makes semi frequent visits here.
When there in town its easy to tell; one of two things happen. If the call goes out at night nobody shows up the next day for work. Or if the call happens in the middle of the day, cell phones just start going off like wildfire.
In a matter of minutes the whole job site is empty. Today it was a overnight call, no one showed up, all over the city. All trades.only a hand full of people came to work!
The calls that come in the middle of the day are the weirdest, one moment there are 80 people working and 2 minuts later the job sites are empty..

Now when those 80 come back to work they should charge the Company and put the CEO in Jail. It doesn't get any easier than that but ICE is a paper lion bark worse than bite. 0 -

The peruvians are leagal to work here, but only in agg. if they get caught working construction there gone.
The mexicans here are mostly just straight illegal, there are those that are legal, there great attributes to this country,
WHY?

They harbor the illegals.
I also work with one guy who is illegal from EL Salvadore, I dont give him to much poop, cause americans dont like him, peruvians dont like him and mexicans dont like him, and hes the only elsalvadorian I have met, so I give him a bit of slack and he minds his P's and Q's0 -
Illegals are not liked too much in the Northern Panhandle...there's a few, but not many. Unfortunately, they seem to be on the increase in Sandpoint. 0 -
Maine is full of Canadians over here working in the logging industry. Big logging companies and contractors like them because they don't have to pay for health insurance for them. 0 -
