    LORD NO! just an old farmhouse meal plenty of protein in the beans

    You don't need meat with that kind of meal! Sounds great!! Your in-laws either love you or were trying to poison you! [:D]

    For me, I will take a skillet of corn bread, a pot of good white beans and ham hock, and a vidalia onion for my meal every day. Only problem is that I would explode from all the gas. [xx(]

    BTW,I had to suffer thru baked Quail,Fresh baby limas,Skillet fried potatoes.But somebodys got to do it.[:D]

    I'm cool with everything but the cornbread. My family were all crazy about it, but I've never liked it.

    Now...with some homemade sourdough or french bread...stand back !!
