Really, I haven't heard that, I have only heard second hand accounts of the power they have been making. Thank's for bringing that up.

Don't need anymore power. I had a 1993 Cummins Duelly years ago with a 5.9 12 valve that made 160 hp factory. Pulled a 36ft fifth wheel camper. New 24 valve 5.9 makes 325 HP. Why the need for more ?

    Bragging rights of course. [:D][;)]

Most mods you do will increase mileage. Even if you dont want to do anything with it, I would get an exhaust upgrade. Getting the air out is always important.

Because too much is never enough, that's why. Why did chevy more away from the 6 cylender corvette? More Power! Why did they put the outlandishly expensive LT-5 into the ZR-1? More Power!! Why did chevy come out with the Grand Sport Package? More Power!!! Why on earth would anybody want the new Z06? More Power!!!!

For what reason???.. it has twice the power the 1993 did..
I won't modify the truck at all. Maybe a pair of nice side rails to step up into the cab. Having the truck is enough for me to be happy. Now fess up... Where is the truck made?

No need to get fussy. [B)]

I like to mod mine and consider another one of my expensive hobbies. I love diesels and haven't owned a gas truck since 1993. Just something about laying on the pedal in a 7,000+ lb truck and leaving the "fast and furious" wannabes in a cloud of smoke. I guess some don't find the same thrill.

    It's made in Mexico.

Unlike the Ford or Chevy, it is not necessary to "upgrade" the exhaust system on the Dodge Cummins powered truck... they come factory with a 4" stainless steel pipe.
