The new Titanic???

Several years ago it was announced a group was building a replica of the Titanic for passenger service on the Atlantic.

Anyone know if this was ever accomplished?

    White Star line had said that (now owned by RCI). Check their web site as I am not sure it ever was started. They may have just been seeing what the publics reaction would be.

    On the Web ten years ago. Was supposed to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the sinking.

    Think the project sunk before the keel was laid.[V]

    I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty sure they were going with a better design and better steel this time.
