I have a friend who grabbed one out of the air before. We were still hunting deer. Walked through a covey, they busted up, and instinctively he threw his hand up and grabbed one. Luckiest guy I have ever met! 0 -

...I always keep my finger loaded, and carry it with me everywhere; just never know when you might need it.
...The 'ol "skillet shot", shootin' 'em when they're in a covy, just ain't right, give 'em a chance. If your a decent shot you'll limit out anyway. Twenty plus years ago a friend came back with his limit+, from one shot, shame shame...[;)]0 -
