Actually a little trick is to hold under the critter just a tad to catch the pattern better. He was tore up so bad he couldn't get up.. barely could pull himself...poor poor varmit. [}:)][}:)]

The box should say "Coffman Coyotes" on it. [8D]

Don't you wish your gun shot that tight? try it at 75 yds. heck I would desinigrate a turkey at 25-30 yds like y'all say you shoot them

No wonder it took two shots and you only wounded the poor critter. That wide of a pattern is crap at that distance and tiny shot like that will only perforate organs and arteries (= slow death). You needed to be at about 30 yards for that to have been effective on a yote. I stand on my opinion about a 65 yard shot with a shotgun on anything larger than a bird. [B)]

That actually looks like a pattern that was created much closer than 65 yards (more like 30) and that just doesn't look right for #2 shot either. Are you sure?

My steps are at least 3' the distance MAY be farther.

My guns are all accurate. I actually don't recall ever wounding any animal. Guess I'm just a natural. Then again, I believe the Marine Corps offers the best rifle training and LAPD S.W.A.T. has a pretty good record of hiring the right people as sharpshooters. [^]

Well I will pay your airfare here. Bring a suitcase full of cash so we can bet whether the shots were made as posted.

One box was a radiator and one was a core support. That would have been an expensive experiment.

I will just have another GB member verify the pattern.. The shells will be the same as I shot the cardboard with. These are not your usual 1.250 load of magnum 2's. but 1.875 oz. Just remember there are approx. 90 pellets per oz. of 2's Lead. Gitrdone will be down or I will be up in his neck of the woods to do the challenge. I believe I understated the yardage after measureing again, but that is your loss not mine. You wouldn't question a military man ( gitrdone) would you? Hell, in fact he can shoot the kicking machine.

Hobby, check this link out. A standard full 12 gauge is around .690 Brownings are usually choked tighter at .684 or so.
My xxfull turkey choke is .640
Now check out the chart. It only goes to 60 yd. Type in full choke, 1 7/8 oz 2's. My choke will increase the number of pellets drastically.
