Anyone ever get a tip on a vintage car for sale?

Will go check it out later today after a Corvette club meeting. 1967 Corvette. Tipster says it is Yellow, one owner, 4 speed convertible. Air conditioning is ??? . Price is way too cheap if the real deal. Not too far from my home. We shall see if tipster shall get a nice finders fee.

  What kind of finders fee do you generally give? Just wondering, that's all.

  I haven't paid a finders fee for quite some time.. back in the late 80's on muscle cars. I was donating $500-$750 per car back them if I bought the car to the party locating the car. Phone would ring quite often. I am thinking 1K on this car if it is what the Law Enforcement Officer says it is.
