    Sweet gun!!![:p][:p][:p]

Ya, Almost all new in the box semi-auto shotguns have what they call a break in period. They will act up for the first 30-50 rounds, Then they work fine. Bean doing competition shotgun shooting for a few years and only seen two that didn't need broke in.

Mags seem to run about $60-70. I just go an email saying the Tromix has some in stock for $50. I have all I can afford for now [V]. I think more then 7 would be a bit over kill. That would be 6 in a vest/pouch and 1 in the gun. They kinda fit in universal mag pouchs but stick out too far to close the pocktes. One of my spring time projects is to build a vest/pouch to fit them, along with seveal slings.

Well Ramtinxxl I have 2 Mossburg 500's as well, one in 12ga and one in .410 for the girl and the kid. I have almost as many shotguns as I do .22 so that is quite a few [:p], so I have that base covered.

mateomasfeo I knew you would like this too. Good try on the bedspread but no go. It is a fold up camp type blanket I got when my medical team went to Flordia after hurrican Ivan a couple years ago. I know it says to use soild colors to take better pics but this has given me the best pics of all the backgrounds I have used. It is half way through January and I should be getting my HK USC back soon. I will make sure to post that one right away just for you [8D].

If the hulls keep giving you troubles you could try metal ones they might cycle better. Just an idea

I think the problem has clenaed itself up. Plus using brass would be expensive and do some good damage too the gun I am sure. The problem was that the hulls would not eject all the way before the action slamed the hull into the reciver. I have some brass that I have not reloaded yet for my cowboy shoots. I know it was not near as cheep as throwing some plastic hulls away.

    Are those 10 round mags?

You need to team up with Zulu7 ... go on a Zombie Hunt and come back with a Range Report with pictures!

Well if we were closer we could make it happen. Are you refering to his SAGE M1A? I just picked up an M1A as well, but no SAGE, too much for me.

Yeah the big ones are 10rd mags which is why I lined some up on the outside to show the firepower. The short one that came with it is 5rds.

I am very suprised the gun is actually pretty light, even when loaded. I would say it comes in right between my Mak90 with a single mag and my Mak90 with double mag if all 3 guns are loaded. I am was very suprised about 2 other things. The balance on this gun is very good, I expected it to be a bit front heavy but is not. The other thing is the trigger pull is VERY good for this type of firearm. The trigger parts all look like stock AK stuff and I am sure that it is. Both of my Mak90's have t "double" hook triggers where this has a "single" hook. I am not sure if that makes the difference or not. It has quite a bit of travel and overtravel, but it breaks clean and feels about 5lbs. I like the trigger on this gun.

One big downside to this gun is I keep scratching eveything with that muzle brake. I swear every time I turn around or set it down I am scratching something.

John,do you have your gas settings correct? #1 for heavy loads..#2 for light loads.Your trigger is likely a USA G2 trigger group for parts count, thats what Tony usualy installes in his builds.Heres my Saiga-12 i converted,i also have added a few more 10 rounders[:D] The Saigas are great guns.
