last time i checked, christians didnt fly 2 jets into a skyscraper to provoke a war.
i have a target 2 miles from my home. ever since 9/11, they took down the mazjid sign on their building. guess theyre not so proud of their god or sure that he will protect them from open attacks stateside. not the god i would want to know. [B)]

Or maybe they're just trying to be good neighbors? I know a Sikh who wears his turban beneath a baseball cap because he knows it makes his Christian customers uncomfortable.

BTW - their "god" (should be capitalized) is the same as the Christian God - it's our respective interpretations that make our religions different.

NOT by any Christian, it shouldn't! There is only one true God...and only He is worthy of acknowledging.

Hey whatta ya know. There's a Masjid on Fort Leonard Wood. Probably on all Army installations for that matter. Am I supposed to be afraid? Ironically, I'm not.

Hell, let's just make 'em wear yellow crescents so we can spot them easier. Isn't that what we all really want?[xx(]

Nah, the yellow crescents would still allow them to sneak up if one were looking the other way. How 'bout a big COWBELL? Or better yet, an AIR-RAID SIREN that went off every time one got near anything explosive or a crowded population center? [;)][:p]

BTW, you (and ALL) really need to read "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades)" by Robert Spencer. It's only ONE of a myriad of very eye-opening books Westerners should read before the success of islamic world domination is complete.

Don't think that just because one is neither Christian or Jewish, the muslims will be no threat to you. You--as ANY non-muslim--are fair game for being dealt with in one of three ways: 1) convert; 2) live in dhimmi status paying a HUGE tax and being subjected to oppressive rules just to exist; 3) DIE.

Don't say you weren't warned!!! [xx(]

    live in dhimmi status paying a HUGE tax and being subjected to oppressive rules just to exist;

That is also called a Federal Government.

When I read this stuff posted (ad nauseam) I picture in my mind all of the hand wringing and hair going grey (or hair falling out) while wondering why no one else in America beside the band of Gun Broker brothers really understands these issues and the drastic steps we need to take to build a perfected American society, which leaves no room for those who dare not embrace Bush and Jesus as our true saviors.

They say there's at least 100,000 of them in the Greater Saint Louis area. There's two Mosque/Islamic centers that I can walk to, and another one going up just as close. They're all legal immigrants, and there's people who think legal immigration is a great thing!

As I said, "their" God and "our" God is the same God. The differing beliefs and interpretations are what we all have a falling out over. The Jews and Christians and Muslims all believe in the same God, however, the phrase Judeo-Christian is not Judeo-Christian-Islamic because the Muslims don't share any of our holy texts.

Mine was not a moral statement, rather one of academic interest, that's all.

I think you guys who say you're lucky need to re think that.. when was the last time you were at a gas station? And who was operating that gas station? Unless its just a local problem, they're not that far away.

Not that I mind them, I'm friends with a bunch, but many of the ones I've met around here look for a different way to cheat you every time.

Last time I was in one, I had a winning scratch off lottery ticket, and they took it and pretended to scan it and proceeded to tell me it wasn't a winner and they threw it out. I told them to take it out, and then I went to the station up the road and claimed my winnings.

Had the same thing happen to me, except the guy wasn't Muslim (at least I don't think he was) - some white teenager who was probably gonna take it and blow it on zit cream. Lord knows he needed it.

EDIT: Not the exact same thing - he didn't throw it away, but he did say, "sorry dude, better luck next time."

I've talked to some other people about it, and they had him do the same thing he pulls them out after the customer leaves and cashes them for himself. So a couple of us called the state number on the back of the tickets and filed a complaint.

I hate clerks who try to scam customers. This kid didn't last long, though. Not sure what happened to him, but he was there for about a month and then he was gone.

Probably knocked some girl up and fled town. He seemed the type.

One really needs to educate oneself before making such spurious statements. These rank up there with the "WRONGEST" statements made on Gunbroker.com. Perhaps one needs to deepen that "academic" interest?

their god isnt God. there is only one God. they denounce Jesus, therefore their god isnt the alpha and omega triune God.
the bible is VERY CLEAR about this. Jesus says that he is the way the truth the life and that NO ONE CAN COME UNTO THE FATHER BUT THRU HIM. that means their efforts to reach God are futile and meaningless and God DOESNT hear them.

i can assure you, there sign doesnt offend me, their religion and beliefs do. but this is america. theyre free to believe what they want to here....until they use it for a cover to do america harm. then the ax comes out.

Just to chime in about whose God is whose thing. Allah, the God of the Christians and the God of the Jews started out as the same God. If you will remember Abraham had two sons. The first one was born out of wedlock to Abraham's wife's (Sarah) maid, Hagar. His name was Ishmael. Then Issac was born to Abraham and Sarah (as promised by God). Those two boys both grew up believing in the same God. Then came the split. Ishmael was born first, so Hagar and Ishmael believed the birth-rights belonged to Ishmael. Isaac was promised by God, so he got the birth-rights. Ishmael broke off from the Jews, taking a good many people with him. He vowed that his people would always be at odds with Abrahams people.
Islam was founded by the line of Ishmael. The Jews continued decending through Issac. David was a decendant of Issac as was Jesus.
Therefore, making the statement that we all share the same God has some truth to it.
Also, if you read the Koran and the Bible they are essentially the same up until that split between Ishmael and Issac.

Check your history. islam was founded by a lunatic, probably demon-possessed robber/warrior named muhammed in the 7th century A.D. His so-called revelations were an attempt to bring some form of legitimacy to his wacky, disjointed religion by borrowing from the Abraham and sons stories. islam's "allah" is actually taken from one of the ancient Babylonian moon gods. allah BECAME the commonly used Arabic name for "god." In that sense ONLY is allah ever used to signify the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Jesus Christ--the God of the Christians and Jews.

Repeating from above post: "BTW, you (and ALL) really need to read "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades)" by Robert Spencer. It's only ONE of a myriad of very eye-opening books Westerners should read before the success of islamic world domination is complete."

Ramtinxxl - didn't Mohammad claim to be a decendant of Abraham via the line of Ishmael? That is where my comment "Islam was founded by the line of Ishmael" came from.
