I am ready to build..

Got the approval and building permit for the outside building 26' X 40' x 12' high today. Cement man is coming tomorrow.[:D]

    Don't believe I will go with 2x10's but 2x8's. Actually I need 11' to do a 10x 10 door which is actually 9.6 tall.

    You put down red clay, and that's it?

    Footers? Any excavation before the clay? Compaction?

    That sounds about the right size garage for my wife.
    But it'd want two double-size doors, for drive in / drive thru / drive out.

    Just make sure they pull the mesh up! They never do. Better yet, use fibermesh in the mix. Good Luck
