fricken fracken !@#^%%#@&%$@ UPS
They just left $1000 worth of ammo on my front step. When I ordered it the order form asked if I had any special instructions for the delivery driver.

+1. Be thankful, not angry.0 -
Probably wanted to get all those heavy packages off his truck so he wouldn't have to deal with them tommorow. 0 -
I really like my UPS guy. [^]
When I order stuff that I don't want to sit outside all night if I'm working (24 on, 48 off) I send it to a friends house. They have a porch that it can be left on plus she's home now with a kid.
If it is something that needs a signature he will take it there or to the Fire Station. Today I got stuff from two places. One of them I didn't want sitting outside so I sent it to my friends. He dropped both off there. I forgot to tell him to do just that the last time I saw him so he could save a stop. He treats me very good.
I think I'll get him a gift certificate to a restaurant after all the ammo and other heavy stuff I gotten in the last 2 months.0 -
I just bought 400 rds of 308 the UPS left at my door and yes it grew feet-- Bas---ds. It was insured and the company is sending out another order to replace the stolen one. I always thought that a siginature was needed. 0 -
You have to specify "signature required." Signature costs extra on residential deliveries. So your shipper's just cheap!
But once you file a claim for stolen merchandise, your address will be "signature required on all deliveries.0 -
My UPS man actually CALLS me on my cell phone when he's on his way if he knows I have a package to sign for, so I can be sure to be here when he arrives.[8D] Nice fellow![:D]

Well you've got a good one then. I have combed the neighborhood for my last time for UPS. And yes I'm "signature required" for them. I have chewed out my last ups driver.
FedEx account, and no neighborhood checks for me.0
