    Plug the end, fill it full of water, and see if it leaks? [:D][:D]

    Call a few machine shops, automotive machine shops and test labs and ask if they can do Magnaflux or Dyechecking. Also look these terms up on Google and you may find someone local.
    If there's a small private airport near you, enquire there as this equipment is used on aircraft parts and structures.
    I would prefer Magnafluxing.

    Take the barrel off the reciever, and with the foregrip also removed (most shotguns you have to take the foregrip off to take the barrels off anyway), take a pencil and put it through the hinge pin.

    With the barrels suspended with nothing to dampen the vibrations, flick the barrels with your finger. If the barrels ring like a bell, the barrels are good. If it's a dull thunk, then you have a problem.
