  I'm paranoid so sometimes I leave the Chamber directly under the hammer empty when carry'n muh wheel-gun. Since the cylinder actually turns as you pull the trigger the first pull will still result in a boom instead of a click, only drawback is one less shot at the end of the cylinder.

  We carried the Model 66. Twenty years of seeing the gun dropped, kicked, and similary mistreated, and that model never accidently went off.
