Don't own one but I have shot the .204. If I were to buy one, it would be a Cooper Arms. I have seen what they do on paper![:p] Tiny groups!

I have a Ruger M77 Mark II in .204 but haven't shot it more then 20 rounds because of not having good glass on it.

I just can't see sighting it with a cheap scope when I have the same gun in .223 that does have decent glass on it.

I bought a Kimber for shooting prarie dogs this spring and I absolutely love it. Very accurate and a lot more distance than I thought when I bought it.

The 204 looks similar to the 223, just a little longer and faster FPS, so I am thinking the 204 and 223 are about the same mild report and recoil?

My brother and dad each have one.

I have shot one and the coolest thing about them I like is the ability to reach out and shoot a drop of sweat off a gnat's azz. All the while letting you watch thru the scope because of the itty bitty recoil.

Awesome predator calling round. Does everything the .17 thinks it can.

What is the efective range for Pdogs? are you ablt to hit them at 300 yads pretty easily?

It is less recoil than the .223. I don't remember how loud it was-about the same as the .223 if I had to guess.

Yes 300 yards on Pdogs is easily accomplished. We sat and shoot them all day at ranges from 200 to 400 yards.

The only problem is deciding to shoot them in the left eye or right eye.

With a good rest and good glass 300 yards was no problem.

I have a Rem 700 VLS in .204 Ruger and there is no describing how accurate that gun is. One hole groups at 200 yards, 500 yards just point and shoot with the 200 yard zero. I busted balloons at 500 yards with it and got bored because it was so easy. I have a Burris Mil Dot scope on it and with the zero at 200 yards I only needed the 2nd mil dot to hit at 500 yards. It is like a laser, point shoot and it is there. If I could get some of my heavy guns to shoot that well I would be the happiest guy you know.
