Note to self: if in Wales being chased by police dogs, don't surrender, keep runing, dogs wont bite you, and are not evolved/designed to head-butt.
Dogs are meant to bite, thats what makes them effective- they might as well train a bunch of bunny rabbits to chase criminals, and try to trip them or see if the criminal just can't stand to step on such a "cute" animal.0 -
Why is it that society always beats up on itself by making it kinder and gentler for the criminals but the criminals never seem to reciprocate by becoming kinder and gentler on their victims?
If such goofey thinking continues, soon no one will want to be a LEO. Because you will not be able to use any force on the criminals but the criminals will still be able to use any and all force on you.0 -
Muzzle a police dog that is just dumb Dumb.
CA SUCKS. The Police German Shepherds that I worked with were taught to knock people down if the officer did not want them to bite. You could call out the command even after they jumped and they would lower their heads and knock people rolling.0 -
looks like a good chance to use a ball bat without much chance of getting hurt unless dog is tied to officer who is probably not allowed to use a firearm anyway 0 -

Last time I worked with K-9s they would bite the butt if the crook was running and the crouch if facing. If you send a K-9 at a crook you better be at the level of force required. If the crook stopped and offered no resistance the K-9 would only bark at the crook. 0
