I know it's too soon but I have a 9 month old beagle I need to get rid of. If you want her I will find a way to get her to you. Her name is Eddie and I only have her because my daughter moved to a new place and could not keep her. I have a Shepard and dread the day anything happens to her. PLMK and we'll find a way to get her to you.

Got the computer games yesterday. Thanks alot. I haven't had a chance to try them out yet, but they look pretty cool. I didn't realize you were a fellow Arkansan! My two sisters live down around there. One in Cabot and the other in Maumelle. Thanks again!

According to Dano too, I shouldn't be talking to you, cause you are now our nemesis.
Dano too has this thing about wanting to be #1. In all honesty, it don't mean squat to me. But, since we are a team, I have to listen to his whinning all the time about it.
Anyway, just to be fair, Dano too has this scheme all cooked up to unseat you from your temporary #1 position. As mean and nasty as he can get, I'd be real careful for a while!
We should be back by Wed. or Thur., that's if we don't get in any more bar fights. It's a long story.............
Stay safe!!The "ONLY" bad thing about owning "A GUN" is....not owning two or more!0 -
Sooo... what did you do re: the auction?? We are on tenterhooks.

All I could comment on was what you initially posted. Now you add that they made the charge so I assume somebody looked at the item number and charged you $12. Yes, they should have done something for you at that point and there's no excuse ever for rudeness.
But then again, you did say you knew the price wasn't right and still tried to make the purchase. Now you're saying you thought it was a great deal but in your first post you admitted that you knew $12 wasn't correct. I would have verified the price before purchasing.
You do need to be careful about making accusations in public. One ebay buyer got sued (and lost in court) over unflattering feedback left after a transaction. You can understand that the GB owner needs to avoid having business owners call him complaining about being called cheats on the forum, too.0 -
point made and taken.

For real? I can't imagine that being the case.
Then again, California law never fails to shock me.0 -
Yes, it really happened. An unhappy buyer called the seller some nasty names in the feedback and the seller sued for slander and won. I think the judgment was $10,000 but I could be mistaken.
Something for us to think about before we start hurling insults at one another in a public forum, no?0 -

Pretty damned civilized interaction for this board, Who are you guys anyway? You must be on the wrong board. The gentlemanly exchange is refreshing![^] 0 -
To prove slander, the seller would only have to prove that the statements were untrue. Not to hard to stick to the truth and get you point across in a feedback posting. I have left blistering feedback on Ebarf and had the high and mighty from Ebarf tell me to watch out.
I just responded for them to bite me, and heard nothing more from them.0
